Fundraisings Efforts

Welcome to our family.

 

The economy continues to cause issues for many families in Chantilly.  The number of scholarship requests we receive increases every season yet we continue to be fully committed to making sure that every child who wants to play football in CYA will have that opportunity. 

Now there is a way that we can all help by supporting our fundraising efforts!

CYA football is committed to giving their players the best possible equipment and this comes with a price tag. Our helmets are sent out to be reconditioned, inspected and painted every other year. Helmets that fail inspection are then replaced by new helmets which cost up to $120 each; coaching equipment such as chutes, footballs, extra mouth guards; tees etc. need to be purchased, along with supplies for the coach’s bags such as first aid kit, tape etc. And to participate in FCYFL, CYA must pay $450 per team. Last year, CYA hosted 26 teams and paid over $11,700 in league fees. The actual cost to outfit one player for football with all the right equipment is roughly $250-$300 per player. The registration fee simply does not cover the cost; therefore every player/family is expected to participate in fundraising.


2012 Car Raffle

This is our primary fundraiser for the 2012 football season!

For the past several seasons, CYA football has raffled off a variety of cars and thanks to the efforts of all the families and the surrounding community, this fundraiser has been extremely successful. In fact without the car raffle, CYA Football would not have been able to operate the way it has. The vehicle this year has not yet been decided but it will be a winner!

Raffle tickets are distributed to each player once they are assigned to a team. The price of a ticket is $10. Please help us in this effort!
